Welcome to DON925™ Jewelry, a family business based in New York City, we work with high quality Mexican metals and semi precious stones.
We teamed up with exceptionally talented silversmiths based in our hometown to create our timeless collection.
Our beautiful jewelry uses responsibly sourced materials and is ethically crafted in small family-owned workshops.
We believe in slow, sustainable jewelry, not fast fashion.
The art of silversmithing uses traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Our range covers everyday items right through to collectible, vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces.
DON925™ was inspired by Maria’s family. Her grandfather was a silver miner, her father has worked in the silver jewelry business since the late 80's and her mother designed jewelry.
"So in a way, you can say that silver runs through my veins." - Maria.
Maria's father is a pioneer in the silver industry. Starting out on a small table in a local street market in Mexico, he built an international business with bases in Mexico and USA, shipping high quality jewelry all over the world.
Mexico is currently the largest producer of silver in the world, with a long standing mining industry dating back to the 1500s, it yields not only high quantities but also a very high quality silver.
We honor and respect Mexico's rich history of working with this beautiful precious metal.

About our name
DON 925
DON means “talent” or "gift" in Spanish – we believe our silversmiths have a genuine gift when creating their art with silver.
DON is the verb "to put on" and stems from the 14th century English expression to “do on” – a nod to Colin's English roots when naming the business.
DON stands for “De Origen Noble” meaning "of royal origin", and in the modern day has become a term for boss, which is how you should feel when you don our jewelry.
925 – is the industry stamp of quality, ensuring you that your jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver.
